Risk Disclosure:

1. RMB investments are subject to exchange rate fluctuations which may provide both opportunities and risks. The fluctuation in the exchange rate of RMB may result in losses in the event that the customer converts RMB into HKD or other foreign currencies.

2. RMB is currently not fully freely convertible. Individual customers can be offered CNH rate to conduct conversion of RMB through bank accounts and may occasionally not be able to do so fully or immediately, for which it is subject to the RMB position of the banks and their commercial decisions at that moment. Customers should consider and understand the possible impact on their liquidity of RMB funds in advance.

Remarks:

1. The minimum cash withdrawal amount is HKD300 for "Jetco" ATM. For cash withdrawal with RMB conversion, the maximum amount is RMB20,000 per transaction. Please refer to the "General Information" for details of ATM Card daily cash withdrawal limit, purchase, funds transfer and payment limit.

2. Cash withdrawal for RMB notes in Hong Kong is subject to the availability of RMB cash withdrawal service by the ATM. Customers, who withdraw cash by using the ATM Card via non-Jetco ATM networks in Hong Kong or via ATM networks through "Jetco" or "UnionPay" outside Hong Kong, will be subject to a handling fee and the terms and conditions stipulated by the relevant banks and network provider(s). Depending on the currency of the transaction account, the handling fee per ATM cash withdrawal performed via "UnionPay" network is HKD / RMB 15 and via "Jetco" network in Mainland China or Macau is HKD 20.

3. When customers withdrawal cash or make a purchase via the "UnionPay" network, the transaction amount will be deducted from the primary bank account of the ATM Card.

4. Both HKD and RMB accounts are required to be linked to your ATM Card for Dual Currency Settlement. If all the accounts in the ATM Card are either Hong Kong Dollar accounts or Renminbi accounts and where the transaction currency is different from the transaction account, currency exchanges and related handling charges will be applied. Please refer to "General Banking Services Charges"

5. Customers are required to activate Auto-transfer Service at any of our branches. Account selection is not available at some ATMs as well as some point-of-sale. Where there are only RMB or HKD accounts linked to your ATM Card and where Auto-transfer Service has not been activated, the first account in the card will automatically become your settlement account.

6. While activating the Overseas ATM Cash Withdrawal function, you could set an overseas ATM cash withdrawal limit that is lower than the limit for local cash withdrawal according to your needs and set the start date and end date for the activation period according to the travel date(s). Activation is not required for cash withdrawal transactions performed at some ATMs marked with "JETCO" logo in the Mainland China and Macau. With effect from 30 August 2020, customers are required to use two-factor authentication for identity verification when conducting "Set up Overseas ATM Cash Withdrawal" through Internet or Mobile Banking.

7. Funds for deposited cheque(s) (including cheque, gift cheque and cashier’s order denominated in HKD) will only be available upon completion of verification as well as clearing process.

8. The daily maximum cash deposit amounts are HKD100,000 and RMB 20,000 respectively.
